An Influencer Introduction With Go Chloe Go
Go Chloe Go shares their favorite tools, how they grow their audience, how they find sponsors, and more.
1 of 13What question are you asked the most when you tell someone you're a blogger/content creator?
How do you have time for this? I am in HR and work full-time so, blogging is not my job but rather, a fun hobby. I did this to spread awareness for perfectly imperfect pets.
2 of 13How do brands find you?
They reach out on DM or email
3 of 13Is there anything that you believe a brand should know before they begin reaching out to influencers?
Yes, understand that we don’t do 12 or 24 hr posts! Legitimate influences don’t partner with just anyone that is throwing money in their direction. Sending “how much for a 12 hr post” will not get you a response.
4 of 13What one tool for your content or your business can you not live without?
Instagram analytics. Easy and concise dashboards.
5 of 13How do you decide how much to charge a brand?
The CPM rule is easiest but for us, a lot of our brands are philanthropic and we donate our fee. Again, we are doing this to spread awareness and not as a primary business driver. We are very selective about partnerships and only work with small businesses, and good for the earth and pet market! If you want to make money, work with bigger brands and deal with their agencies.
6 of 13What was the biggest challenge you had to overcome when starting out?
Responding to DMs! We try our best but get nearly 500+ / day!
7 of 13How do you personally keep your content true to your voice while also delivering value to a brand?
Authenticity. We are honest and hope that resonates with partners.
8 of 13What is the biggest challenge you face now that you have an established audience?
Expanding into more male followers! We are 84% women but would love to see more male and international followers.
9 of 13How did you grow your audience when you started out?
10 of 13What helps you maintain your motivation to continue creating content?
Seeing cute cats everyday.
11 of 13What's the one piece of advice you would give to someone just starting out in content creation?
Be yourself and post often. Don’t hashtag like crazy.
12 of 13What is your most defining piece of content in your opinion? Why?
Chloe’s road trip and her scooting videos
13 of 13What brands would you most like to work with?
Local pet brands!
