The random name picker is a free and easy to use tool that allows you to pick a random name
(or other unique identifier like email address) from a list of provided names. Once you insert
your list of names, you will input how many winners to pick, the title of your drawing, and
your email address so we can send you a verification link to complete the drawing.

How does it work?
The random name picker uses the PHP mt_rand function, which generates random values between
the specified minimum and maximum values via the Mersenne Twister Random Number Generator.

What are some common use cases?
The random name picker can be used to pick winners for giveaways, sweepstakes, contests,
raffles, competitions, and more! Companies can use it to select winners for their promotions,
teachers can use it to pick names for classroom activities, and it can even be used for those
difficult decisions, like what to eat for dinner.

What types of input values will it accept?
You can use any type of values to pick winners from. Numbers, names, symbols, emojis, email
addresses, physical addresses, literally anything you can think of you can put into the picker
and we'll randomly select the designated number of winners.

Do you automatically remove duplicates?
No, we do not remove duplicates from your list, but we will remove empty or blank lines from
both the file you upload, or the list that you paste in.

What is done with the information submitted through the tool?
After the drawing is complete, we automatically delete all data that was uploaded to our
system. We do not store, rent, or sell data we collect in anyway. We only collect data that
allows us to facilitate the drawing on your behalf. The only data that remains is the data of
the winners, which is available to you on the special link sent to your email address.
